My name is Molly. I am a child of God, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a cook, a maid (though not a very good one,) a gardener, a helper, a hugger. I am also a physical therapist, but am currently only working on an as needed basis.  I love my Jesus and am so thankful for all the adventures and blessings He provides for me and my family. He is our “cedar place.” We had hoped to start this blog for our family and friends to keep up with our adoption process. God had other plans for that moment in our time as this space was mostly used to update our family and friends about my recovery from 3 surgeries in July 2012 to remove a benign acoustic neuroma from next to my brain.  Recovery was harder than originally anticipated as the surgeries left me with a weak left arm, some paralysis of the left side of my throat (read tube feedings) & complete deafness in my left ear.  Praise the Lord for His provision and answers to the prayers of so many! I am really only left with no hearing in the left ear after a year and half have passed.  Everything has resolved enough to function “normally” on a day to day basis.  And now. NOW. We have been allowed to share about adoption because NOW we are in it.  Now we are in process.  Hoping for plenty of updates to share on that in the coming months.

Ezekiel 17:22-23 (NIV)

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will take a shoot from the very top of a cedar and plant it; I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain. On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches.”
